Can someone reassure me that my symptoms are anxiety and not yeast?

candida symptoms
&hearts Lau Von C &hearts asked:

Please can someone just reasure me of something? Today I feel like crap. I can barely get in the shower.. I don’t know why. I just want to go back to bed. I have pressure on my eyes that is almost a sickly feeling and it is making my head feel heavy as hell. I also feel spacey and with no energy.
My Dr said it is depression but I keep worrying its candida because a health clinic said it was. Im eating a bread sandwich lol and am worried that Im going to get worse.. could this really be psycological??

Thanks guys

That sounds like depression symptoms. Did the health clinic diagnosis of candida come from a doctor or recognized medical testing or was it not that reputable?

Candida albicans overgrowth (systemic yeast syndrome) can lead to hypoglycemia or diabetes according to one of the experts whose book I have been reading.

You may be having bouts of low blood sugar in addition to the candida. Your symptoms sound just like it. Get the doctor to run a 5 hour glucose tolerance test, soon. Eating properly (no sugar/sugar substitute foods, no high glycemic carbohydrates, plenty of protein) and eating in between meal snacks of the same should help level your blood sugars out. A very strict diet (the book The Yeast Syndrome: How to Help Your Doctor Identify & Treat the Real Cause of Your Yeast-Related Illness by John P. Trowbridge MD) contains one that is helpful to me.

Low blood sugar affects hormone production which can affect moods. I don’t think you are depressed.

Short term - eat tuna or salmon, at least 2 meals a week, in addition to your meat at each meal (soy if you are a vegetarian), and if you don’t already, start eating old-fashioned (cooks in 5 minutes) oatmeal about 1 to 1.5 cups a week (use it in cooking if you don’t like it for breakfast). I bet your anxiety will start fading in 2 weeks or less.

You answered your own question..
Your doctor says you have depression….

You can however for your own peace of mind….Go to an ophthalmologist and ask them to check you for the disorder you think you have…

Good luck

you should ask dr. about drug therapy and find a therapist to help with external causes…stress, worry, anxiety…and exercise does help but you have to be willing to make the right changes in your day to day life…feel better..and don’t worry about it …it can be helped
