Candida I think?

I did the spit test and my spit was stringy and fell to the bottom. I had bad breath for about 7 years and sinus problems. I also have toe nail fungus and tinea versicolor fungus of the skin. I got the tinea under control but nothin else. It started during a very stressful time and i was going through puberty. I took some medicine when i was about 8 for my toe nail fungus but my mom stopped it cuz she was scared for my liver. I also took antibiotics for my acne to iono if that has anything to do with it. I really want all this to go away. I dont really get tired, i can do things. Im jus tired of hidin cuz my breath. Could candida be result of my bad breath and sinus problems? I know im suseptible to fungus because i got tinea versicolor and toe nail fungus, so could i jus be a breedin ground for candida. I use to drink lots of sodas and eat lots of bread. I love cheese and meat. I jus want my bad breath and sinus problems to stop, i need help.

Check into Tree Sap… it’s an antifungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial…. best to search online to do some research but I have friends who’ve cleared up bad toe problems that way… warts too… also, try buying from

You should go see a naturopath or homeopath and get a complete checkup. The reason I suggested the above is because alot of the regular medical field do not know the ins & outs of candidea and don’t know how to fix it properly.
Either of the above will give you great advice on diet and ways to cleanse your system of all that is wrong.

Sugars, breads(yeasts), diary and fast food all affect candidea. In the meantime go to the health food store and buy some acidopholous with probiotics (they are always kept in a fridge). It will help your intestines enormously, which will also help with your breath.

If you’re serious about your problem, I can tell you from personal experience that all your symptoms and addictions indicate a classic candida infection.

At the age of 42 I ate like a pig and loved anything with yeast in it and heavy carbohydrates. I had athletes foot that virtually peeled all the skin off the bottom of my feet. I was tired all the time and had serious sinus trouble, but worst of all, my tongue displayed a thick yellow coating.

You’re much younger than I was, so the fact that my hair was turning white and falling out probably doesn’t apply to you. Your love of cheese, however, is typical of candida infection because it’s a milk product and milk feeds the candida.

Incidentally, it was probably the antibiotics that caused your problem. Most alternative doctors believe that it is the only way you can get mucocutaneous candida infection. I question that assumption, however. I believe mine started due to a drastic case of ptomeine poisoning.

My advice to you is to get your butt to a nutritionist who knows what they’re talking as fast as possible. There is a treatment in Mexico that’s very effective—again I’m going by personal experience and you’ll find lots of professionals with only book knowledge who’ll say that I’m crazy, but don’t believe them. If I had listened to them, I’d be dead.

Hello,

It really does sound like candida overgrowth. I realized I had candida after I had suffered with many frustrating symptoms for a year. Although I did not have toe nail fungus, I did have sinus problems that lasted for months. I also had anxiety (panic attacks), muscle aches, tingling and numbness, tightness in my chest, general fatigue, a foggy head, and stomach issues. I’m 25 years old. Doctors kept trying to tell me it was stress and that I was fine.

Candida overgrowth makes sense, because before I started to get symptoms I went on a vacation to Mexico where all we did for 2 weeks was drink sweet alcoholic drinks and pig out on lots of carbs and desserts. I got a horrible chest cold that lasted a month, and once it went away I never felt the same. I’ve also was on birth control for 6 years (the pill can mess up your system) and have been on antibiotics in the past. I craved sugar and carbs, mainly pasta and bread.

Doctors kept telling me it was stress. I had found out about candida overgrowth online, but my own doctor told me that it wasn’t real. Still, I wanted to try the diet because nothing else was working.

After about 10 months, I got fed up with all my symptoms – it was getting in the way of my life. So I went on the anti-candida diet (my aunt is a medical doctor and a naturopath, so she helped me) and within a few weeks, my symptoms started to subside. I cut out sugars, most fruit, wheat and most dairy. I ate lots of veggies and lean proteins. I’ve been on the program for 4 1/2 months and I still take acidophilus and natural anti-fungals (right now I’m taking oil of oregano).

I find that when I cheat and eat little bits of those foods for a few days, sometimes my symptoms will act up again.

I think it would really benefit you to try to anti-candida diet. Even if you don’t take the supplements right away, but try the diet for at least a month, you should notice a difference. Garlic is a great natural anti-fungal…if you eat lots of that it should help as well. Instead of sour cream, you could use plain yogurt….eat the kind with active bacteria cultures because those are excellent for combating candida.

Check out a book called “The Yeast Connection” by Dr. William Crook. It should give you a lot of answers.
